•Machine function:
To Use the Auto Tape Mounter, which is using to pick & place several type materials from each carrier
and to tape them onto the UV tape or DAF for the downstream process purpose like grinding or saw
machine.
•Machine introduction:
◎ Material Loading Port
- The XYZ gantry, which is able to pick & place the materials from the MGZ or stacking panel or the
materials on the different carrier, through the checking of the CCD vision, put them onto the
positioning station.
- The machine does not need to be adjusted or changed of any parts, the flow path can be able to
match the different sizes of Laminate & Ferrite of width auto switching.
- Laminate, Lead Frame, Substrate, Magazine & Wafer ring in load port, which equipped with the empty
check function, when one of load port is going to be empty, the M/C will alarm and show the message
on the HMI, but M/C still operation until the materials totally running out , then M/C then stop.
- The Machine is able to get the production data through the run card scanning or to scan the 1D/2D
code on the materials for the labeling purpose.
◎ Tapping Station
- The XYZ gantry is able to pick & place the materials from the positioning station and the ring from
the wafer ring stacker, place them together onto the table and execute the tapping operation.
- The Lamination accuracy: +/- 1mm, rotation < 1⁰
- After the tapping operation, the materials return to the top side by the flipper mechanism and
labeling operation, check the label data by barcode reader as well.
- Unload port could be placed only one Cassette and auto pitching the unloading track, which can be
operated either 8” or 12” Wafer ring & Cassette by the recipe selection.
- This machine is able to proceed either Non pre-cut UV tape or Pre-cut DAF membrane Tapping.
- Auto Tape Mounter recipe exchange will be transmitted from IT through SECS / GEM to machine,
automatic program switching and the comparison of institutional parameters as well.
- The data of process monitoring shall be able to output for the data analysis.
